Dresser D Series Diaphragm Replacement Gas Meters are compact, positive displacement rotary gas meters designed to replace common diaphragm-style gas meters in low-flow residential, commercial, and utility applications. Although these meters look similar to traditional diaphragm meters, they are not diaphragm meters. The D Series uses proven Dresser ROOTS rotary meter technology in an oil-free design with a precision measuring cartridge.

These meters are ideal when you want the familiar fit of a diaphragm meter with the performance advantages of a rotary meter. The Dresser D630, D800, and D1000 Series meters provide accurate measurement, low pressure drop, and excellent low-flow performance for natural gas applications. The D630 is designed as a drop-in replacement for comparable 600-class diaphragm meters, while the larger D Series models support higher commercial loads.

Dresser Series D meters are rated for a maximum operating pressure of 25 PSIG and operate in temperatures from -40°F to +140°F. The D630 has a rated capacity up to 1320 ACFH, while the larger D Series platform is rated up to 1700 ACFH, depending on the model and operating conditions.
